Almond Butter Soy Sauce

This sauce is savory, creamy, and just slightly sweet, basically, it goes with everything. I usually mix up a quick batch when I’m making salmon cucumber rolls or any type of protein-packed snack that needs a little dip.

It works great as a dressing too, especially if you’re tossing together a slaw or drizzling it over cold noodles.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

Just whisk everything together in a small bowl until smooth. If your almond butter is thick, you can thin it out with a tiny splash of water or lime juice.

Taste and adjust—if you want it saltier, add a dash more soy sauce. If you want more sweetness, go for another drizzle of honey.

Ways to Use It

This sauce works well with anything cucumber-based, but I also love it with grilled chicken skewers, roasted veggies, or tossed into a quinoa bowl. It keeps well in the fridge for up to 5 days, so you can make a small jar and use it throughout the week.
